   We have had a monopoly game in our homes since my husband and I were just a wee lad and lass. The last remaining game of the Old Generation has had pieces & monopoly money added from other games. And while it is still in great shape, it was time to celebrate one of our families Favorite Games! Beautiful pewter-colored metal pieces, some are familiar others are new, or were removed from the game years ago and have returned for the 80t Anniversary! The houses and hotels are carved wood instead of the bright green & red hotels & houses. There are changes on the board as well. It was fun noticing the changes, and overall is an excellent addition to our 40 year old game!

   This looks just like I remember it being when I was a child about 62 years ago. My wife is from the Philippines and never heard of it. I want to show her how to play this game. I wonder if they have an electronic version that keeps track of money. That would be very useful. I played it so much way back then that eventually I called it monotony. It seems like it takes hours and hours to ever finish a game. It’s a game of chance with the dice but there is still plenty of personal judgment involved to win. And it is a great teaching method to managing and investing with lots of peril like in the real world. Life is not at all predictable.

   This is honestly one of the best purchases I have made on boardgamesweekly.com, and that is saying a lot since I have made over 170 purchases in the last six months. The price was very very good. The quality is unquestionable. My family has spent hours playing this together, which is a miracle as it is almost impossible to get them all to sit down and do something together for any decent period of time. This is also one of the few games that allows enough players to accommodate the whole family (I have six kids). I also want to note the quality is superior to the standard Monopoly games. The houses and hotels are made from wood and the pawns (? the parts you move around the board) have a very solid, hefty feel to them. You can definitely tell the difference between this version and today’s standard version and I enjoy things of a finer quality. Overall I think this is worth every penny. I would have paid twice as much and still be satisfied.

   The Product is just Awesome😍😍😍 The quality of the product is Wonderful… But the box is little bit damaged (may be it happened while delivering the product). But the Things inside that is undamaged… Nothing happened to them… So, it actually doesn’t matter to me…

   This is a great version of Monopoly! My family I love the variety of tokens—there’s something for everyone. I wanted a more expensive, special version of the game, but I have kids that tend to lose the game pieces and money, so I decided to wait on that purchase and buy this one for the interim. I’m glad I did because this is a good quality version of the game for a very reasonable price.

   The houses and hotels are unpainted wood, but this is not a problem for us. The hotels are easily differentiated from the houses because of their size.

   An unexpected perk of the game was the organizational tray. My daughter keeps it set up & ready to go for our next family game.

   This is a functioning product and will probably be just fine but like others I can’t look past how many corners have been cut in quality and design. The board is flimsy and probably won’t stay in one piece for very long. Certainly not like monopoly boards of the past. The propert cards are small and flimsy and designed so they are nearly impossible to read easily. Paper money still the same cheap stuff so that’s fine. The pieces are nice though.

   I played a month ago the monopoly for the first time of my life.
   I absolutely love it and i decided immediately to buy my own.

   The game is good quality. It is fun to play.
   My recommendations:
   – for my friends – dont get mad its just a game.
   – for potential buyers – the “anniversary edition” is a must have. Also buy this as a present to your friends.

    I was in the market for a new Monopoly because my old one was missing pieces so naturally I looked here on boardgamesweekly.com and saw this one. I really like this because it has unique tokens, not all the usual ones, these span across the decades. I like the overall style of this one and the tray that it comes with to hold all the money and properties is great. It’s nice but wasn’t so expensive that I don’t mind playing it all the time. Worth it if your old one is getting worn out or missing pieces like mine was.
