   This version of Monopoly is my favourite so far, but i am removing 2 stars due to the below:
   1- The game board was bent, so when you set it up, the board is arching
   2- The coins could’ve been of light metal + could’ve been more in case any was damaged, given that money is made of light cardboard

   This game helped my wife and I have some fun while quarantining together. It’s perfect for two players, so if you like Monopoly and Game of Thrones, don’t hesitate to purchase this game! The makers have really simplified the way Monopoly is played, which is a good thing in my opinion. The Chance cards are really great and can completely flip the game to someone’s favor, so even if one player has a strong lead, they may not have it for long. Monopoly is not usually great for two players only, but this one actually makes it fun and every game is different. If you are playing only as two players, I would recommend these two changes to the regular rules to make it work. One: instead of five stags (single dollar amount) and five dragons (five dollar amount) as the rules state, give each player six of each. Two: the first trip around the board, no action can be taken. No purchase or penalties at all until your piece makes it all the way around once. This seems to keep it a little more fair from the start with just two players. Just a suggestion of course, but it’s worked for us. We like to rewatch the series while we play, which really helps make for a great Sunday in our house. We highly recommend this board game!

   I got this for my boyfriend’s birthday present and he absolutely loves it. He is obsessed with GOT and loves monopoly as well. We’ve played this at least 15 times already LOL. The board itself is thin and doesn’t lay perfectly flat but other than that this is a great gift and very fun to play. You can play with up to 6 people

   So the rules are a little different- rent is only double without buildings (screwed that up the first go round and every went broke in like 2 turns) and the coins are in 1s or 5s instead of the usual spread. The board, game pieces, and cards looks great. BUT The chance cards are very repetitive(ex: 4 get out of jail cards, 2 sail to Braavos, 4 about the Dothraki Hoarde), there aren’t enough castles or hold fasts,for every property to have them. When they run out you have to buy them off another player! Since the coins are only 1s and 5s – you start with 30 coins (5 each) and you collect 2 from passing go, but it doesn’t make a bunch of sense when properties have rent of 10-30 coins depending on the buildings. So essentially you’re all just passing coins back and forth, never having enough to improve your property. I ended up buying a coin set (see 2nd photo – real metal, 3 denominations) to have 1s, 5s, and 10s and we changed up how much everyone starts with so the game lasts longer. Eventually I’ll go through the chance cards and edit them for more variety.

    We had a wonderful time playing this version of Monopoly. Because it’s less like monopolies than other monopolies. It fits the theme not only in look but in the way you play it. It has additional elements which can really shift the game on a dime. The playing pieces are awesome the music element is awesome the throne is awesome. It plays more like a European game than an American one. I’m so pleased with the value of this game it’s totally worth the price. If you like the series you will really enjoy playing this game. It’s theme elements are right on target. The chance cards really makes it up. A lot of fun for everyone.

    This has been a very fun game, especially if you’re a GOT fan. I like it a lot better than a long game of regular Monopoly. The game box, however, was damaged upon receipt. There are creases and tears in the lid. Someone obviously knew this beforehand, because it has clear packing tape running along one entire side of the box to keep it from falling apart. New, really?

    OMGGGG. Played this the other night upon delivery, such a fun game! The use of coins is so much easier to play with vs having a ton of paper bills but makes the gap between the wealthiest and poorest even more difficult to close. Great touch!
    Best part of this game are the random twists in the chance deck. We had 2 major upsets and both times were shocked but also had so much fun. Highly recommend. My only grievance is the house siglis are made super cheap and it’s really hard to tell them apart when 6 people play. I’ll be painting them w nail polish for future games.
