   I got this monopoly for my boyfriend who loves nature. This was a great gift & my favorite part is that the cards that you receive when land on a place & “buy” it have a little lesson about each nation park on the back!

   The pieces that come with this look awful, dirty and cheap. For the price of this game I would’ve expected better. With that said, I believe I received all the pieces, cards, etc. If that isn’t the case I’ll update the review.

   Monopoly is a rabidly capitalistic game. So this felt a bit odd to me to play at “owning” National Parks. But don’t we all own them after all? We share ownership. Anyway, we bought this for our young daughter and prefer it over the standard version. BTW, if you want your mind blown research the history of the Monopoly game. It started out as an anti-monopoly game created by Elizabeth Magie (and patented in 1903) who never received any credit for it. When it gained popularity, Parker Brothers got ahold of it, and true to its name, took it over for the sake of filling their pockets.

   Do not get fooled by their advertisement saying “collectable peices”. The pictures they use are outdated from a prereleased version of the game and no longer printed/built that way. So you are now stuck with these ugly offshoot prints that look nothing like their box art. I contacted the company and asked about this thinking it was a bad batch I got and hoped for the nicer looking peices but the customer service rep got back saying that this happens with a lot of their games and they even print this on the fine print of box saying something like: “not all peices shown will match what you recieve.” I just think that’s corny and super cheap of them. Other than that it’s monapally, and it’s fun a few times until you get tired of playing it.

   We LOVE this version of Monopoly! It’s also our son’s favorite game. He is 11. But even his 2 younger brothers (10 & 8) enjoy playing with him.

   There were many complaints about missing cards and pieces so I checked as soon as it arrived, thankfully mine were all there. The tent looks nothing like a tent (maybe if you use your imagination) just as other people have described. I played with family recently and it was a lot of fun since we love to travel to the National Parks. We will be taking it on all adventures. The game play is the same as the original monopoly just using parks as the properties.

    This version is a little smaller than standard, including the money. And smaller can actually work out better with 6 people playing. The tokens are cool.

    Easy to set up, understand and play. This is a fun KM for all ages above counting cognitive level.

    We actually bought this to take on holiday in America as we were doing a road trip tour through many of the US national parks. It was great fun during the actual holiday but now we are back home in Australia we still play it regularly and it brings back great memories and chat of all the places we saw and experienced adding a real dimension to game night.
