I was very hesitant to order the game as many reviewers already stated they received a used game instead of a new one. The same happened to me and the box clearly has been opened before. Because everything seemed to be complete and still looks new-ish, I will keep the game as I don‘t have time to order a different one. Still, if you are looking for a new game do not order. The game itself appears to be from good quality.

I would not recommend.
There were literal errors in the materials and recordings.
I’ve hosted several murder mystery parties and this is the worst kit on the market.
Names are wrong in the documents, weapons that didn’t exist were mentioned, the story was not communicated well, SO MANY MISTAKES.

This is the second Talking Tables game we have ordered and have loved them both. So well done and we had so much fun.

We enjoyed playing this, especially with all of the fun extra details (murder weapons to hide; crazy character traits; strange hidden details). What was a bit confusing was that the murderer (in one of the three possible endings) had no motive. Our group consisted of 9 players and maybe had we had the full 12 players the story would have been more coherent. Or maybe we just needed to drink more. Or less.

Great game overall but some discrepancies that impact the game a bit…wrong names for some characters, another murder weapon mentioned but not part of the pieces etc.
overall good though and family had fun playing this for a birthday party

I was blown away with this product. I had purchased another kit (around the same price) from another company there was just flimsy cards and complicated instructions. I decided to return that one and give this one a try. It exceeded my expectations, especially in comparison to the one I had previously purchased. Great quality materials, all kinds of fun additions, and easy to follow instructions. This was a great game for an adult dinner party game, and had added Challenge and secret trait cards that kept us laughing all night.

I’ve now played this game twice with two different groups. In both sceneries, there was contradictory info making an accurate guess very difficult. The game host manual says which 3 characters to include regardless of the number of players (presumably because those are the 3 different killers in the scenarios), but the ending we played today didn’t have 1 of those 3 as the killer. Of course it was a person I hadn’t assigned so the killer wasn’t even present as they should have been. It was disappointing!
If you were playing with all roles filled, that wouldn’t be as big of a deal, but the contradictory info made it very difficult to surmise who the actual killer was anyway.
If you purchase this, plan to be the “host” and read through the clues ahead of time to see where the hiccups are.

Great fun

Wir haben schon mehrere dieser Spiele gespielt aber dieses war das bisher schwächste der jemals gespielten. Es wird erst ab Runde 2 okay, davor komplett unnötig.
