A fun idea, but the Gibbs character has too much say in final solution chosen. Also, it seems that if you have too few players, you get fewer clues to solve the case with.

It is a fun board game. Of course when I first played with the husband we mixed up the steps a bit in the rules. But once we figured it out it went smoother. Of course playing with more than 2 is the better option. But I personally like to role play Gibbs and Abby!

This was given to a 13-year-old NCIS fan, who immediately set it up and played round after round with her family. You’re given clues and have to solve each crime, which is not only a lot of fun, but a great way to engage your deductive reasoning skills and reading skills. Debating the merits of each possible suspect really gets everyone talking, thinking, and working together. Younger kids can play, too (with a little help). A great family game!
I’d love to see the developer come out with an expansion pack so that more rounds of the game can be played…

We have had fun with this – have been able to get into character a bit while playing. Player interaction in discussion and sharing thoughts is an integral part of the play. Do be warned – the game only comes with 9 episodes, so the same group of people can only play this 9 times – each episode has a specific conclusion,

Bought this as a Christmas gift for hubby and kids as they are all fans of the show. It was a really confusing game and I think you can only play it once. Turns out it’s more like those “How to Host a Murder” games where it’s a mystery to all and you only play once. It was VERY wordy and took forever to read through all the different game cards.
Boring & very disappointing!

I ordered this Game and when I opened it March 3, there was an important Clue book missing for McGee and 2 booklet for Dinozzo.
I tried to return it and got a message that said, “part not available, refund only”. So I had to go to another seller of this game fulfilled by boardgamesweekly.com.
This particular Game was sent by Evan Williams.

This was a gift for some friends who are crazy about NCIS! They haven’t stopped playing it since! However, this is the type of game you can only play once. According to them.

Bought this for my 10yr old daughter who is a huge NCIS fan ( even though the instructions state for teens and older). The idea of the game is a novel one, not to beat your opponent but to work as team to sove the crime. The instructions were easy enough to follow and we got on and played the game. At the end of the game the team members confer and chose a suspect, referring to the back of the instruction manual to get the answer of ‘whodunit’ (we failed to catch the killer – oops). However, the downside of it is, there are only 9 crime scenarios, so it would appear that once you’ve gone through the 9 games, you know who the bad guy/girl was and therefore it’s no point in replaying the scenarios. I’ve only played one scenario so far so I’m hoping that I’ve got it wrong, we’ll have to wait and see. Otherwise a good game and I certainly like the fact that you’re working as team rather than against one another.

We love the show so we bought the game.. I have never seen a game more complicated than this. Family of 4 here and we all were seriously stumped and bored out of our minds. Way too much complexity. May be a good game for people who are hard core board gamers.. dont have any distractions.. the attention you need for this game is 100%. We opted for sequence and headbands..
