   New York 1901 is a worker placement game set in the world of construction and skyscrapers at the turn of the century. On their turns, players can draw a colored card that matches lots on the board, players can then build buildings with Tetris-like shapes. As the game progresses, players can demolish their existing buildings and build the next generation of buildings. Each time a building is built, points are scored. Eventually, players can build an epic skyscraper for an epic amount of points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins. The game that New York 1901 reminds me of most of all is Ticket to Ride. It’s a fairly light, accessible game that nevertheless offers a healthy dose of strategy and fun. This is the kind of game you pull out for your friends who aren’t really into niche gaming in order to introduce them into the hobby, and its a game that you and your niche-gamer friends will want to pull out every once in a while for a great gaming experience.

   Autant je me suis ennuyé sur les aventuriers du ….. autant je m’amuse à celui là que je trouve bien différent car pour créer une ligne avec les ADR, il fallait 3,4, voir 5 cartes et + , dans New York , 1 carte suffit pour installer son immeuble, non vraiment rien à voir avec les AVR , si ce n’est le tirage des cartes hasardeux forcément . Bref une belle découverte .
