The game is fun to play, but I wish there were more cards. We went through most of the family cards after playing two times. Once you have guessed a charade it is too easy to use that one again.

Great game and lots of fun EXCEPT that we had 2 teams of 3 people so we were only able to go through a stack of cards once before we’d seen them all. Although it might be possible for you to work around the ones you’ve seen, it wasn’t nearly as fun and we gave up on it. The other trick is that depending on the age range in your group of players, you might want to mix up the cards you use for each person so that you don’t run out of cards too quickly. Otherwise a great game – we wish we had 500 more Family cards.

I bought this for my 5 year old’s birthday. He is in the stage where he wants to play games with everyone but because he is still learning to read he needs extra help. I also have 3 other kids different ages and we all had so much fun playing this game. There is plenty of cards to do a whole round for someone to win. My younger kids love the fact they can act out the picture cards without having to worry if they are doing it right since they are for them to interpret and decide if it is right. I love the confidence it gives my kids and since there is an age gap between my kids it gives them all something fun they can play together. We have never laughed so hard playing a game. My kids are 2, 5, 6, and 10 and they had a blast playing this with my husband and I. I highly recommend it for families of all sizes and ages it will definitely bring some laughs and fun times. Perfect for those family nights.

I must admit I was surprised to find out, when we all played this game at a cabin in the mountains, that my then-6-year-old and 4-year-old granddaughters not only took gleeful delight in playing charades but were very, very good at it! The game cards make it easy for young kids to play, but as ages go up, so do the challenges on ascending sets of cards. I look forward to every opportunity to play this game with them, because it is as much fun for me as it is for them.

This has been a great game for our family. We have used it during family gatherings when we are trying to accommodate various ages without leaving the little ones out or boring the older ones. We play pretty much non competitive/ no teams. The “actor” draws the card from where they want and start acting, and the rest of the group guesses. This has worked well so people could jump in and out of the game if we had other stuff like preparing a meal going on at the same time.

Fun for the whole family. Even my mother, who is normally quite reserved, joined in. The youngest player was 5. They do have cards for younger family members and after some explanation, she figured out how to act out the cards easily. We just made up our own rules and let her play on both teams so she wouldn’t get bored waiting for a turn again. But everyone had fun. Teams had a ‘grump’ each – someone that wouldn’t get up and act it out but couldn’t seem to control themselves and not shout out guesses!! So the game was fun, for young, old, everyone in between and it was easy to customize the rules to include everyone in some way.

Great to have levels so that my little ones can play. We played this as a family on New Year’s Eve. My 6 yr old twins and their grandparents played. It was a great game to play across the generations. Taught children new words, taking turns, attending to details, reading….all this “education” in a great family game. Unplug and create memories. It was so great to see how my little ones perceive and portray their ideas so creatively
