   I bought this as an alternative to Cranium, which all our family love to play on the one day a year we all find ourselves in the same place. The packaging is great and the reviews make it sound equally as much fun as Cranium. It certainly looks the part and would make a good Xmas present but, I must confess, we didn’t finish a game before reverting back to Cranium. I should say that there is no-one in our family (yet) under the age of twenty-five so maybe this is not a fair review.

   This game is fantastic. The description here doesn’t do it justice at all, we’ve played this with friends and family – although the rules differed accordingly and had a lot of fun.
   The game looks great coming in a rigid type box making it durable and lasting.

   Loads of fun, this game! We own it and loved it so much this one is a gift:) would recommend if playing with a younger crowd, just pull out the game of drinks and it doesn’t interfere with the fun!

   This game came up when looking for games for kids…but it is NOT intended for kids. It is fine if you take the time to remove all the inappropriate cards (honestly, I wouldn’t keep them in even if it was just adults – they aren’t funny). I’ve attached photos of how many cards I had to remove. It’s a shame because this could be marketed to so many more people if they tweaked it for families. The only other bummer is that the songs and tv/movie references are tricky depending on the age gap. The most recent is 2000s, so nothing current there (a lot of Seinfeld references). It seems like “oldies” would be a good category for music since most age groups are familiar with those. Anyway – great idea with some adjustments for families.

   Because Partini incorporates so many different “party games,” it’s great for a crowd–if you’re not good at pantomime, there are dexterity games. Artists can sculpt clues out of clay, music fans can hum to their teammates. When we played this recently at a dinner party, we ignored the rules that the first team to 5 coasters wins and played until we’d won all the coasters–and several of my guests are not “game people!”

   Now, when my husband and I played with our kids, we came across a couple of cards that were not intended for kids (for example, “Things you’d find on a nightstand” and one of the answers was handcuffs. Try explaining that to a 7-yr old!)

   The weakest part of the game is the Hum Punch category simply because music is such a huge genre and many people might know a song, but not necessarily the title. We bent the rules on this category and let the person up pick enough cards until they had a couple of tunes they knew and could hum. Still hilarious to watch, however!

   This game came exactly as described. Practically new except for one deck of cards open (and still those cards were practically new). Everything else was factory sealed! Good deal! Would do business with them again.

    This is an AWESOME party game…I feel that it would be better perceived by adults than teens only because some of the cards require an older knowledge base. Like knowledge of 60’s music for example. But all in all everyone will find this game fun.
