Super fun game! I play this a lot with my 8-year-old daughter and her friends. It’s entertaining, easy to play, and doesn’t last too long. Each holder has a different style and color mustache. On the back of the holder is a suction cup. You hold the mustache just above your mouth (like you’re wearing it) and then the dealer turns over a card. If the card color or shape is the same as your mustache, you slam down the mustache holder (with the suction cup down) and try to take the card. Whoever gets the card stuck to their suction cup wins the card and any other cards beneath. There are various cards that have you do different things (like pass your holders to the right). When all the cards are turned over, the game ends. Whoever has the most cards wins!

I hate this game. No, really. Imagine a game where your job is to place cards one at a time into the middle of a bear trap. Your goal is to get them in there and get your hand out before it gets chopped off. That’s mustache smash. If you’re the dealer (as parents will likely be), you have to get the card onto the table and try to get your hand out of the way before the kids smash your fingers with their suction cup mustache weapons of destruction. Notice the key word: try. You will get smashed. The mustache card probably won’t. A typical game looks like this:
Dealer places first card onto table. Players slam mustache suction wands over and over until someone knocks the card close enough to their pile to call it theirs. Dealer pulls destroyed hand back, wraps in gauze, and tries again. Repeat until you get through the deck or you decide your hand has had enough and you just throw the rest onto the table and let the kids fight it out cage-match style.
I hate this game.
But the kids love it, at least for a few minutes.

Arrived quickly, a twist on snap. Played this news years eve consisting of 2 adults and three children (ages ranging between 8 – 12yrs), was expecting the worst from the kids, but actually it was the adults that became the most competitive!!! So much fun!!!! The moustaches are sturdy enough to take the roughness of the game with out causing injury. I think this has turned into my favourite game

Purchased for my daycare/Pre-K kids. Uses pictures of the different mustaches and kids were a little too young to realize the differences in some of them, simply swatting the card based on color. Also ended up bending the handles of the moustaches a bit in their enthusiasm. Still, they had a good time with it and liked to play it. Couldn’t help but feel the need to disinfect pieces when they were exchanged. Ew. But worth the money & got plenty of play out of it.

For a mustache lover, my 5 year old daughter was super excited to get this game for Christmas! It is a perfect game for her age, and for any age older than her too! While my daughter likes to just smash any and every card that goes down, the point of the game is to smash and stick your card (with the little suction cups on the mustaches) to your mustache if it matches. The kids love to laugh at each other as they hold their mustaches to their faces, and then giggle when trying to smash them and get them stuck on their stick. I’m glad someone has finally started making games that don’t have too many pieces to be lost, and that is fun for everyone, and fairly easy to play for all ages too! Great game by Spin Master Games!

This is one of many gifts my son was given for Christmas. I didn’t expect it to go over as well as it did and assumed he would just enjoy it as he’s 3 years old and just starting to enjoy playing boardgames.
Since opening it, the first day we had to play SEVEN times! And every single day since Christmas.
It’s also really fun for and enjoyable for adults to play. I have to be honest and say I love it too!
It’s very simple, easy to get the hang of, and an instant family hit.

This is a fun little game for any age. My 3 year old wanted it after watching someone on youtube play it but the whole family has enjoyed playing it. It is a quick game with easy rules. Flip a card. If it matches the color or shape of your mustache, smash it. Whoever it sticks to wins. If you smash the wrong card, you give up 2 of your cards to the “pot”. Whoever has the most cards at the end, wins. My 3 year old picked up the rules easily and is able to play (He is a few months shy of being 4,so a “new” three year old may have trouble playing). It is fun and fast paced.
I wasn’t expecting much for quality, but the mustache and the sticks hold up well to abuse. Occasionally, the suction cups dont pick up the card, but that is affected by the angle you smash. Much like regular playing cards, these cards may tend to be hard to pick up from the table, so that can affect how the suction cup works too. We find that using a game table, or a tablecloth keeps the cards from sticking to the table.
Overall, this was a great buy and is fun for just about any age.

This game is easy to play and great fun for the little ones. My daughter and her cousins love playing it, aged from 4 to 13, it always ends in lots of laughs.
But once the kids have played a round or two they need to step back and let the adults play. Then sh*t gets serious! It’s a game of fastest hand wins and even the least competitive person soon becomes desperate for victory, plus you are wielding a weapon….a rubber moustache on a stick sure but wait till you get a smack on the back of the hand with one 😂 Add a few beers and it’s all out carnage! Absolutely hilarious watching your drunk brother in law hold up a fake yellow handlebar ‘stache to his face and try to focus as his card is dropped while your husband body slides across the table to get to it before him 😂 Honestly nearly wet my pants.
