   Lots of good, compact detail for GMs including skill modifiers, combat modifiers, condition modifiers, and miscellaneous DCs that are just good to know (like, how difficult it would be to break down a wooden door).

   Allocations for experience, treasure values, and DCs for any number of situations. Having the information handy — even for a seasoned GM — is always better than stopping play to look things up in the rulebook.

   The hard-cover quality and large four-panel construction of the screen makes a big difference when you’re trying to conduct secret rolls, especially with a larger group. The only downside is that if you’re playing on a smaller table, the screen can potentially take up space a smaller screen wouldn’t. This small detail, however, should not deter any GM from purchasing this resource. And boardgamesweekly.com has it priced right.

   Zum Preis: Ich hatte zunächst überlegt mir die PDFs im Copyshop auf Pappe drucken zu lassen, doch bei meinem Copyshop hätte mich das über 20€ gekostet. Deshalb ist der Preis mehr als anständig.

   Zu Schirm: Die Pappe, auf die die Informationen gedruckt sind, ist, im vergleich mit anderen Spielmeisterschirmen, ultra dick. Das macht den Schirm um ein vielfaches weniger anfällig zu knicken oder einfach kaputt zu gehen.
   Ich finde die Artwork einfach super.
   Darüber hinaus wurde beim Design des Schirms endlich mal an die Spielmeister gedacht. Überflüssige Bilder oder breite Ränder wurden hier weggelassen und zu den Informationen auf dem Schirm stehen dann auch noch die Referenzen zu den entsprechenden Seiten im Regelbuch.

   Habe selten einen so hilfreichen und ansehnlichen GM Screen in der Hand gehabt, wie diesen hier.

   Bon écran pour gérer les aventures d’une compagnie de joyeux lurons! D’un côté, un set de personnages pour permettre à vos joueurs d’imaginer leurs avatars. De l’autre, des tableaux écrit en anglais (mais c’était bien indiqué, l’objet en VF est introuvable sur le net). Certaines tables sont pour moi inutiles, mais d’autres compagnons pourront trouver leur bonheur.

   Côté matière, un carton plastifié solide, bien plus que je ne le pensais : avec cette constitution à toute épreuve, il va pouvoir manger du coup de D20, le bestiau. Enfin, regret que le format de l’objet ne soit pas en landscape, ce qui peut parfois gêner si vous souhaitez regarder la carte ou autres sur la table de vos joueurs. Mais, mis à part ces défauts mineurs, l’objet respire le travail bien fait, et, rend un MJ heureux. ^^

   I love the art and the sturdy construction. It folds out into four panels, two are skill DC’s, one panel for combat and one for miscellaneous. The choice of charts left a lot to be desired. A DM screen should have charts that you use frequently. How often will I use the huge chart detailing all of the wind modifiers to my Fly Skill DC? I do like that they put page references for all the charts they included. I think many of the charts should have been left as only a page reference. Things that I think are vital to a GM screen, like the Attack of Opportunity chart, were left out. This will make a nice replacement for my 3.5 screen but I will need to continue to use it in conjunction with my Ebberon screen.
