   Bought this on a whim after playing with friends on vacation. Pleasantly surprised by the quality, feel, & durability of it – thick & sturdy while also light & compact enough to throw in my backpack when travelling. Being able to store all of the marbles & cards in the board itself is also incredibly convenient and in all honesty a game-changer for a guy like me who tends to lose game pieces or forgets to pack a deck of cards. So far friends & family have all been equally impressed, so I’m going to be on the hook for buying quite a few more of these as gifts this holiday season. Is there a rewards program for frequent buyers?? Very satisfied with this purchase.

   If you like cribbage, this is a great alternative! Recommend as a gift too. Hard to find the 8 peg board.

   Suggestion for people who buy this:
   1 – play with two decks
   2 – print out or write down small cheat sheets for everyone. Makes it easy for people to remember rules for each card.

   One of my favorite games and I highly recommend!

   We have never played pickle before ordering this game. It was an instant hit with the family. The object of the game is to get all four of your marbles around the board and into home before anyone else. Instead of using dice, you use a deck of cards to advance your marbles. The game is definitely challenging and can be quite competitive, but is simple enough for younger children to play. What we loved: – The craftsmanship of the board and the marbles are excellent. The wood board is not brittle or cheap. It feels quite solid. – The game is definitely portable and easy to carry. The game board is hinged and also latches together to form it’s own carrying case. – The game includes cards, but if some cards come up missing they can easily be replaced by any standard deck of playing cards. – The whole set screams quality. This will hold up for years. – The instructions are clear and easy to understand. What we didn’t like: – The board does not lay completely flat. The way it’s constructed, the hinges of the board prevent the board from laying completely flat. Expect the board to rock a little when you play. This is literally the only reason the game didn’t get a 5-star rating. This is a game that will be played for years. This board in particular has exceptional quality. Though the board rocked a little while we played, we are very satisfied with the game.

   The game is great to play with family and friends. Everything you need is conveniently located within the board case. I like the vibrant colors of the marbles with the smooth classic finish of the board. It is lightweight enough to travel but sturdy to play on. I like the all the pieces have a designated space and can be quickly cleaned up and stored or travel with you. It’s a great game and product. It is easy to pick up the game, but I like the strategy that is involved as well as the teamwork later in the game as well. Highly recommend.

   Originally bought one for ourselves – great quality, great fun!
   Bought a second set as a gift, unfortunately it was opened after the return window. It’s missing both the cards and the marbles which makes it useless.

   First, this is a fun game for two or four people. Fun to play with family or friends – young to old. We like the combination of cards and marbles. The marble portion reminds us of the game “Aggravation” but with a fun and creative twist with the addition of cards. Second, the game board is well-made and well thought out for storing as well as traveling. It is all self contained so you don’t have to worry about losing marbles or cards.
