Overview
- THRILLING ESCAPE GAME: The frequent tremors, the looming clouds over the crater, and the ever-increasing smell of sulfur make it clear that it is time to escape. In Polynesia, you must direct your tribe through the waters of the Pacific in search of a new home, safe from the impending eruption of the volcano.
- STRATEGY GAME: Save your tribe members from the dangers of the volcano by taking them to the islands that will give them the most points. At the same time, you must try to reach the objectives set by the tide cards, which will vary from one game to another.
- COMPETITIVE ROUTE BUILDING GAME: Players collect resources in the form of fish and shells that allow them to explore new sea routes, use the routes of other players and sail from one island to another. The most successful individual will be appointed the supreme chief of the Polynesian tribal group.
- ADVENTURE GAME: Explore new sea routes that lead to unvisited islands, collect resources on those islands to offer to other tribes in exchange for their knowledge, and continue sailing in search of a safe place.
- NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This board game for adults and family can be played with 2 to 4 players and is suitable for ages 14 and older. The average playtime is 75 minutes.

I really enjoyed this. Its fast paced, intense and simple to play. Like most turn based board games, you have 4 actions, you use resources to buy your way and then the volcano acts as a way to end the game suddenly

This game concept is super fun and I really enjoyed it. The game ends when you’ve drawn all the lava tokens from a bag, making the volcano erupt. I just wish there were more than six tokens you had to draw because it always feels like the game ends so quickly. It does help make it more intense and definitely makes you change up your strategy. If you like strategic and map based games but don’t want to be sitting for four hours, I would definitely suggest this game. It took us about 30 minutes to play.
