   I am very happy with this purchase. The bag is really pretty and I like that everything easily fits inside and zips it ups. Easy to grap to travel and to take out and put away. I like the ceramic stones, they have that nic cool fel like an actual stone would.

   This game set is beautiful. I wish the cups were a little nicer, but given that it’s for travel, it makes sense that they are less for display. The bag and Keychain fob are beautiful and exactly as pictured. The mat feels high quality, and it has a nice play feel. The pieces don’t slide around and it’s easy to pack. The only thing I don’t like about the mat is the way the folds don’t lay flat. I don’t know that there’s a way to fix that, though. I absolutely love this set, and the game is fascinating.

   This is a very high quality set. The pieces/stones are smooth, heavy, and shine beautifully once cleaned and oiled. Extra stones were included for both black and white. It’s very satisfying to hold or play with a stone as you wait for your opponent to make their move.

   The playing board is easy to roll and pack away and is made from a nice and sturdy material. I do not see it wearing out any time soon and think it will age gracefully once it does. Two-sided board is perfect for beginners to learn on the small side and for experienced players to enjoy the large side.

   The instruction booklet is really just to get you started and I would recommend backing it up with instructions from other sources/online to gain better knowledge of gameplay. The carrying case seems like it will last and protects the board and stone containers well.

   Highly recommend this set! It is very reasonably priced for the quality.

   As a traveling go set, this works nicely with one exception: the bowl lids come off as they do not screw on tightly. The result is that all the pieces fall into the carrying bag and then have to be separated. We have resorted to putting the black pieces in a plastic bag that seals. For the game board, we cut a piece of hard plastic tubing to size and wrap the roll-up board around it: no creases when we unroll it. For people who love to play go (my husband and I play one another almost daily) it’s really nice to have a full set, even if the pieces are on the thin side, and the “board” is not wood. But for traveling–it’s fine!

   (The stones in the pictures were polished by me) I was looking for a portable set a while ago and I don’t think I could have found a better one. Starting with the board: I doubt it’s real leather, but it feels like it. The grille is a standard size and the thickness of its lines is wider than usual, but that, for my taste, makes it look higher quality. Speaking of the print, you can feel the relief of the lines. Now the stones: This is the first time I have had ceramic stones. They feel heavy, with very few blemishes and pleasant to the touch once polished. In my case, I received 184 black stones and 183 white ones. 3 replacement stones for each color. My best purchase of 2020!
