This is a great game for learning Bible geography and time periods. My kids (14 & 12) absolutely loved it. It’s similar to Ticket to Ride – but more complicated – so if you enjoy that game, this is a must. The instructions are not always straight forward and need some re-reading.

Hard to learn but fun to play. Use the YouTube helps on the the play rules…..

Game is fun for the whole family. Instruction is short and easy to understand. It took us ~45 minutes to play through the game.

Instructions can seem confusing. My advice read and then just start playing, as you go along refer to the instructions and it starts to make since. By the end of the game you will have a better understanding how the game is played. Love the knowledge that is gained from Scripture, location and century that things took place. When you read the Bible this map comes back to your mind for locations of events. This game is definitely a game that includes strategy.

I find this game really fun and actually makes you want to learn the Bible stories referenced. It’s great for learning biblical geography – almost like laying all of the Bible stories on top of each other and seeing what transpired through time in the same locations. There are a few ways you can try to collect the most points, which is always fun. Not everyone has to have the same strategy. We have played this game with 8 and 9 year olds, no problem.

I own about 180 games and this game is as good as any and better than many. And the other positive reviews are spot on. You will not be disappointed. And this game can be played by all not just Christians. No Bible knowledge is necessary. TWO THUMBS UP!!

We love playing games like Splendor, Catan, Ticket to Ride, Labyrinth (ocean theme) etc…this is such a fun one to include in our homeschool day, and we play sometimes on Sabbath for fun too. Our 7 year old understands enough to play but I would say younger than that you should buddy up with them or they won’t get it.

Let’s be honest, most Bible themed games are pretty boring. Portals and Prophets is actually a pretty fun strategy game! With multiple ways to score points, bonuses, and chances to increase your gameplay options while foiling your opponents, it is a continuing challenge to win that has kept us coming back for more.
