As advertised: extremely well made, pieces fit perfectly across the board and when being stored, and they have heft/feel great to hold/navigate. On a side note my wife and I had never played before and were looking for fun 2-person games during this pandemic lockdown… and it’s fun as heck! This board is very high quality – especially for the price (another company told me that a board I bought where the pieces did not fit up snug across the playing space wouldn’t have that feature in a “budget board” – it cost $40 less than this board). Pieces fit well, playing surface is cushioning which gives a very nice feel when moving pieces around the board. Seams are well sewn, color is beautiful. I have received high praise from members of my backgammon club. I would definitely recommend this board.

I love the weight of the pieces. They slide and stack nicely along the board. First time, I couldn’t find anyone to play. So, I played both sides. Lol.
