I had seen ads for Quoridor for a while and finally decided to give it a shot. My friend and I decided to ‘try it out’ late one night and were immediately hooked. We played for hours and had a blast. The concept of the game is super simple but there are lots of different strategies. I have only played 1v1 so I can’t speak to the 4 player game play, but if you’re looking for a great game to add to the collection I highly recommend Quoridor.

Simple but Clever strategy game enjoyed by 3 generations of the family. After a couple turns, the 7yr old was in competition with 60 yr old grandparents. This game is great for having a quick end of day fast play time ( 15 minutes) but can be done as rounds like “3 out of 5” or “beat the winner” for extended play time and spreading around the fun.
This was a great Christmas Day gift for me but afterward it was “borrowed” and enjoyed so much I gave up and bought a second one to keep at home. =)
The game itself very well made and has good packaging for storage.
