- EXPERIENCE THE SEQUEL TO NEMESIS: Nemesis Lockdown is a standalone sequel that also integrates into the original Nemesis game and its expansions. This standalone expansion retains the highly cinematic, cooperative experience of the original game while introducing a lot of fresh new mechanics.
- THRILLING SCI-FI SURVIVAL GAME: During the game, players will be taken to a totally new location – a secret base on Mars, represented by a multi level board. Survive an alien-infested lab on Mars but beware of other players and their agendas.
- STRATEGY BOARD GAME: During the tense gameplay, you and your fellow players will gather items, explore different rooms and use your actions, craft, run, and fight other species. At the same time, each player will try to complete a secret objective that will grant them victory… Sometimes at the expense of others.
- NEW GAME MECHANICS: Nemesis Lockdown adds new characters and alien race to give players new character skills to use and new threats to face. Lockdown introduces a new multi-level base with elevators and stairs, and separate power and lights for each level. Additional updates include advanced computer actions, a CSS hatch system and a contingency procedure.
- NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This thrilling survival game is designed for 1 to 5 players. Making it the perfect two player board game for ages 14 plus . Average playtime is approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Yup, this expansion is triggering…but in a great way! It adds quite a bit of chaos to an already complicated game, but we have a lot of fun when we decide to play with this expansion. Nemesis is our favorite game to play and this expansion really turns up the heat for difficulty. The pieces that come in the expansion meet the same quality of the base game, but my favorite feature of the expansion is that it’s easier to put back into the box when you’re done playing! Way easier than the base game. Overall, this is a worthy addition if you have the base game.

For every rule there are several different game pieces. The majority of the game pieces are smaller than half the size of a penny. There are so many game pieces that after taking apart the new game it’s even more effort to put all pieces back into the box. I had spent three hours assembling the game pieces and the board game to play game of Nemesis, but by the time I had finished setting up the game nobody I was with wanted to play anymore. It’s a fun game to talk about but isn’t fun to sit through a long game of play, especially when having to wait on your turn and waiting on the 3rd or 4th player to figure out the rules.
What will likely happen when this game is bought is that it might be played 5 or less times within it lifetime, with the majority of it’s time on a shelf or open on a table in an empty room. For a the price of this game I can do much better with my time and make much more out of my money.
