   This is the best game to get anyone in strategy games like axis and allies, a LOT better than 1941, easy to understand and quick, well balanced and fun, love it, also it came with 8 dice and everhthing you need to play from the box

   I’m not normally a review spammer, but I felt like the reviews for this game were a bit one-sided. We opened this yesterday while there were some thunderstorms and it provided us with an hours worth of fun family time (I suspect that now that we know the rules games will run 30-45 minutes). I grew up with both GI Joe and Axis & Allies and this will strike nostalgic chords for both. However, one need not be familiar with either to enjoy the game. I loved that Cobra has a Weather Dominator that can freeze parts of the board creating ice bridges to attack zones. Our game featured a catastrophe for the Joe team as Cobra created and then subsequently destroyed if with a whole team of Joes on it, sending many a green-shirt to the icy depths. Cobra was at the edge of victory before some clutch rolls by the Joe team. Cobra grimly held on to a narrow victory. My son and I had a great time playing!

   Really love this streamlined take on Axis & Allies. I’m not really knowledgeable about GI JOE, but it’s ok, the game still rocks. The theme is cool I think, and the value, especially for anywhere under $50 or so, is a super proposition. Easy to learn and play for families, too.

   If you like GI Joe and or Axis and allies DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. You would be better off saving your money than wasting it and or your valuable time on this game. The game just isn’t fun! Quality game pieces and cool art. Doesn’t change the fact that this isn’t a fun game
