   Expansion includes was a must. Plays 5 and had a thought it moved at a medium pace. Two players was quick play times and not must down time. Four and five could be a bit of a drag time waiting to play your turn.
   Recommended 2-3 players.

   Absolutely love the levels of strategy to this game. It’s a little too complex for some friends but it’s a big hit with those of us who are more serious about slightly longer games such as Catan. Its very aesthetically pleasing as well, in a colorful fantasy sort of way.

   I love the North Sea saga games. This is the first in the trilogy and is really fun. Great game to get if you like hand management gamea.

   There are a lot of rules to be learned as you start out the game. Once you’ve figured them out, there are a number of different strategies you can take up to try to win the game. Sometimes frustrating as you’ll be on the verge of building a ship and one of your opponent will pull just the right card to really set you back. But you can get them back on your turn!

   This is a great game to buy. A great time and fun with the family definitely worth buying.

   Player with the most victory points at the end of the game wins. When someone builds three ships the game ends. Things players have built and accumulated are worth victory points. Game uses worker placement, hand management, a little take that, and some luck because the ships you’re trying to build require certain craftsmen. The craftsmen you get are luck of the draw for the most part (some stealing and killing going on with take that cards from other players). I like the game but have only played it a few times with 3-4 people and I won. If you consistently get bad card drawing juju, you will not be happy.
