This helps keep the cubes in the correct places…and the are nice a sturdy. They don’t quite fit in the box, as they are different dimensions as the original…but that isn’t a big problem for me.

Such a huge improvement over the cheap card stock of the game. It’s such a great game and these fix the most disappointing aspect of it. The boards even have a opening between the energy and heat areas to easily slide between.

These do a great job of holding your resources while trying to Terraform Mars. It’s much harder to disrupt the production markers (but not impossible!) by jostling the board. The board was clearly designed by someone who’s actually played the game – the path from Energy to Heat is a very nice touch – you can simply slide all of the cubes over as part of the new generation’s production.
We have a convention that the “logo” space holds extra player cubes and delegates (it won’t fit them all, but it gets close) and we add our per-turn free delegate to the “money” container in the upper left. I managed to cram all the resources together in an organized way and fit these IN THE GAME BOX as well – no additional storage required!

As all who own the Terraforming Mars know, the paper player mats are very underwhelming and impractical. The slightest nudge, knock or even a cough could knock your counters out of position and cause suspicious looks from other players when you try to remember where you were on all the tracks. With these, the counters lock into place and you can now relax.
These look great, are beautifully made and are reassuringly robust. I wasn’t whether or to go for something more colourful, like the Kickstarter ones you can find on Ebay, but now I have these, I’m confident I’ve made the correct choice.
If you play games enough to be fussy about the quality of their components, then I definitely recommend these, as they are grade A+. They’re a little pricey but the quality definitely warrants the price tag.
