   Fun, competitive and easy for all ages. I like this game because it goes quick, there aren’t a lot of rules. You roll the die and if you get a 1 or 6, you can move your marble from starting base. If you roll a 6 you keep rolling. You can land in the center but can’t move out of the center until you roll a 1. Get all your marbles around the board to home base first and you win. You can get knocked back to base if your opponent lands on you.

   So my stepmom wants me to buy this game for my Dad for Christmas, since it’s been years since they had one at home. Dad opens the gift, this game, Wahoo, and let me just say—this game *loved* to remind me of all my childhood disappointments. You know, the ones where I tried SO HARD to win but ended up *losing* in the most dramatic way possible. Yeah, Wahoo is basically a board full of childhood trauma wrapped in colorful marbles.

   Dad? He’s a champion. He’s out here sliding marbles like a pro, while I’m over here questioning my life choices after I get knocked out of the game for the 10th time in a row. It’s like the game’s main goal is to make me relive my “why did I think I could win?” moments. But hey, if you enjoy family bonding and watching your self-esteem slowly crumble… this is your game! Highly recommend for those who can handle the sweet, sweet taste of defeat. Just remember to keep the snacks nearby for emotional support!

   We love this game. The board is beautifully done in a natural finish and smooth as silk. The only suggestion I would have would be for the holes that the marbles sit in, be a bit deeper. However, I have zero complaints, it’s beautifully crafted and we play daily since it arrived. The bag of marbles arrived with 4 complete sets of different colored marbles and eight dice, all in a velvet drawstring bag. I would buy from this merchant again based on this purchase. Excellent quality.

   We’ve had a Wahoo board in our family for almost 80 years. This is a nice version, solid oak (rare – most are cheap plywood) with nice finishing and machining on the holes. This is an heirloom quality board, worth the reasonable price. Good for you or great for a gift!

   I chose this board because it’s a four-person board. It’s beautifully made. The included marbles could have been a little nicer, but they are adequate and come in a little faux velveteen case.
