   This is the classic Stratego I remember playing as a kid. My only complaint is that the board is a bit flimsy/light and easily slides around on the table during play; though not enough to deduct a star. On an unrelated note, I wonder why is this game so hard to find and (sometimes) so expensive.

   a great strategy game that is fun to play with anyone. My kids like it the most. which is saying something because they like many other kids like computer games a lot. They would rather play this at times instead of their video games. BONUS!

   A lot of nostalgia. The game is still fun. If the tin I received came with all the pieces, easily 5 stars, but I got a duplicate of one piece, and I was missing another. Sp just watch out for that.

   I bought this game for my son at his 10th birthday and he loves it. It is a perfect game for the kids to play because it is simple enough for them to understand and enjoy and it can be completed in a reasonable amount of time (unlike games like Risk or Monopoly, which typically take many hours to play). The kids enjoy planning their strategies and pitting their skills against one another, or against Mom or Dad. Please note that this is a two player game. The quality of this product definitely met our expectations. There is a new version of this game available (space age stuff), but I chose to get the classic version because I want my kids to have a strategic game experience that is uncluttered with frills and distracting elements. This game did not disappoint. My son chose the five-star rating. He said, “I love it!”

   Love this game and particularly this classic version. Great tin, love that the pieces are all engraved rather than having stickers. HOWEVER, after playing this game only once, we went to fold the board back up and put it away and it snappped in half! We did not fold it incorrectly. This particular board folds three times (twice lengthwise and then once in half to make a square). Perhaps it is just too much stress on that last fold. Not well designed or else we just got a weak one. Either way, I’d say just be aware that this could be a problem. I’ve contacted spin master to see if I can get a replacement board. I will update my review if they replace it.

   The set arrived timely but was missing a piece. Because if the nature of the game, I cannot play without all the pieces and thus will have to throw it away. What a waste.

   if you want the original strateg this is it. i do not like the multifolded collapsible board. i will have to reinforce it with good tape otherwise it will rip very quickly. also the pieces have to be put in little plastic bags. it does not come with the old storage plastic files where you could see youre whole army . this is a shame , it makes placing them more difficult.

   YES! Finally the version we all grew up with. Can’t stand they way the changed it. This set has the numbering the was we all remember where 1 is the most powerful piece and 9 is the least. The tin keeps it safe, and all the pieces / board are very well made and sturdy. It is a fun game, addictive and perfect for snowy, stay at home days. The game doesn’t take as long as I thought it might to play, so it’s nice to be able to take a short break in the day and spend some time w/ the kids.
