I looked forward to getting this game. I would watch the tv show with my husband and we would answer the questions on it and had fun doing it. I was happy when I got it. Some questions are good and fun, quite a bit of sex questions, some questions are just stupid. And some questions just ask for a fight. My brother looked at some of the questions and wouldn’t play it with his wife because he said ‘these are just gonna start a fight’. (They do.) Overall, not too good of a buy. If you intentionally skip the bad and/or stupid questions, it can be a bit entertaining.

We used to DVR The Newlywed game and have couples over to play. Now we have it readily available to play without having to find when it is on and record it. It’s great! You even get to pick your fake prizes. 🙂

A great idea wasted, the Newly Wed Game is a bomb as interactive entertainment. Not only are the questions largely off color, but the game’s greatest weakness is that it takes waaaaay too long for the interactive screen to shift from one frame to the next. The four couples we played with went from enthusiastic to BORED in fifteen minutes. There has to be better software for such a classic TV program. Ugh!

Played this game several times with a few other couples and everyone who has played it had a lot of fun. I would buy it again for sure. Topics can get pretty racy, so consider yourself forewarned. Not for the faint of heart.
