The coins are replacements or upgrades for the tiny cardboard pogs you get with the game. It’s not even an option really- if you play Old World you deserve to toss out those pogs. These are amazing and look and feel exceptional.
As for the seller, my coins arrived earlier than expected in good packaging and at a more than fair price. I would absolutely shop with them again.

After purchasing the game we absolutely had to have these little metal coins to complete the game play experience. The cad board coins that come in the game itself are “okay”, but these coins feel and sound great while playing. We’re REALLY happy we made this purchase.
