   We purchased this game from a local mom & pop game store near where we live, along with 3 other games for winter break. My son immediately picked this one out after looking at all 4 games I brought home. He’s been playing it for over an hour and enjoying it completely. Points of frustration as he thinks through the path(s) the marble(s) will take, yes. But he enjoys a challenge and the excitement he experiences when he succeeds is visible over and over in this game.    I love catan and puzzles. I saw this and had to get it immediately. Love playing these puzzles with my fiancé and hope they make more, maybe like a seafarers version would be cool 🤷

   I’m a 30-something adult and I enjoy neat little puzzles. I got this on a whim (also because it reminded me of Traffic Jam) and at first I thought it was too kiddy, but then I was pleasantly surprised.

   The game/puzzle comes with 10 puzzles for each of the four difficulty levels: easy, medium, hard, expert. The easy – medium puzzles are easy and are more of just an exercise. I went through most of those puzzles in the latest episode of boardgamesweekly.com’s Wheel of Time. The harder and expert level puzzles is where it got interesting – and I did those while binging new Star Trek Strange New World episodes so I could channel Spock logic.

   This puzzle looks like its for kids – it has a Hasbro/Mattel-looking box with colorful artwork. The theme is about making pathways for little robots to do their work around the city. The chunky, sturdy puzzle pieces even have little details that look like parts of a robot city. The marbles are small and it is hard to distinguish between green and blue in dim light, but they are smooth and fun to handle, LIKE CANDY. I would highly recommend NOT playing with this around small children, though the marble is small enough that it likely would not obstruct their airway if swallowed – I’m not so sure about other orifices. The marbles are about the size of very large peas. The card stock is kind of thin, but it should not matter because you aren’t handling the cards while playing. They are glossy, colorful, and are clear and easy to understand. Simply said, the components are well done.

   The actual play – it is fun piecing together a track that would help you get the solution – the marbles in the correct location and order. Things you have to consider besides getting a marble from the start point to the end point include considering order – Red Marble needs to get to the end before Yellow Marble, so Red Marble may need to take a longer or slower path.

   You have to use deduction – of the available pieces, which ones are impossible for this spot? Which ones are possible? You have to use logic – this marble needs to get to the left and this needs to go right, so there must be a crossing pathway somewhere…

   I also like that there are some basic principles of physics employed – Newton’s third law, friction, angular velocity. Some of the puzzles are more clever than others. And it’s a cool feeling when you figure out one of the trickier ones. It’s that feeling when you solved that math problem all by yourself and then you feel smart. Even though the answer is in the back of the book. Which,

   the solutions are on the back of the card. But before giving up, there are 1-2 hints on the card itself that you can look up in the rulebook/pamphlet. And yes, I did look up some of the solutions or parts of them when I got frustrated at 3am. A few puzzles I had my own solution. Just like math class. Boom.

   Sometimes for the solution to work, you need to have perfect conditions – yes all the pieces have to be in squarely, but you need a completely flat surface that is level. My apartment is already slanted and this did not affect the early puzzles, but sometimes I had to start using a small ramp to give the puzzle board a little lift. But then maybe because of the tilt of my apartment, I was able to get solutions that may not work with a completely flat surface.

   (For the ramp, I just used a folded piece of cardboard that was inside the box for packaging.)
   I personally think it’s fine – this is a game after all: it’s supposed to be entertaining.

   I would recommend this game for families with children 10+ all the way to adults who want a quick, easy puzzle that is more interesting than Sudoku. I’m already excited to give away my game to family. I think this would make a good gift – it’s colorful, it’s a toy, it’s educational, and adults can have fun with it too. And after you’re done with the puzzle, you can make your own challenges or pass it on to someone else to enjoy.

   I also wanted to add that I expected the game to be published by ThinFun, but it is designed by Prospero Hall based in Seattle. They make a lot of other board games most of which I’ve enjoyed like Pan Am and Legacy of Isla Nublar.

   If you like CATAN, skip this. If you like puzzles, skip this. The pieces are not good quality, just poorly aligned stickers that are already peeling back from the plastic. There are way better puzzles and CATAN branded products out there so just get them and leave this behind

   This game is real fun for all the family. Easy to grasp and challenging to play. The sense of satisfaction when you complete a tough route is immense!

   I love TTR and was excited for a solo puzzle game! This was disappointing though. The pieces and the board are low quality, making it difficult to move the trains around the board. This is especially true when there are trains and cars to be moved together. The pieces move so poorly, this was a return.

   The cars and trains are plastic and could’ve also benefited from a magnet to keep them connected when moving them.
