Bought this for my son’s birthday. He and his siblings have really enjoyed it. It’s fairly simple and fun! Some games I have gotten in the past were hard to figure out, but not this one. Would definitely recommend.

This is a very fun game with elements of Monopoly, but instead of buying property, you buy your own personal items before escaping to the life boat. You have ‘chance’ cards in the form of gossip and telegram cards. Plus, you might go to jail.

Confusing at first.
Keep going and you get the hang of the game.
Fun game to play with an 7 and 8 yr old.
Not everytime is the same.

The kids wanted to try the game but it was getting late (9pm) so we planned on testing it out for about 20 minutes. Next thing we know it’s 11pm and two of us are racing to get 2nd place so we don’t “go down with the ship”. We had a blast. Kids are 9 and 12.

My 7yo has a huge fascination with the Titanic. He has gone to the Titanic museum and owns just about every children’s book about this event. I got him this boardgame for his 7th birthday and he absolutely loved/loves it. The game can seem a little complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is pretty fun.
However, the game playing can run a little long as this game’s version of “go back” spaces are highly concentrated in the level before the main deck/lifeboats.

I like that only 2 people can play this game. It looks like a lot of fun and different than other games I have. Can’t wait to play. One not though…the board is very long!

So this board game is not the most accurate, Titanic-wise, but it’s a lot of fun! You can kind of tell they whipped this one up quickly in 1998 following the surge of Titanic interest, but it’s a pretty good game. It’s a bit complicated to learn well, and it’s longgggg. But we’ve always had a good time playing! Best for those over 10 years old, I’d say, just because it can be a little tough to learn. Age-appropriate otherwise, though, and a welcome addition to any Titanic collection!

I was surprised to see they still make this game. We loved it as children, just get ready to strap in because it can go longer than monopoly and even longer than the titanic movie 😂
