   Tower Of Babel is a lovely little euro-game with rather simple rules. At first you might think “That’s it? Where is the game in this?” But then the subtleties of gameplay begin to reveal themselves one at a time, until you are thinking “Oh my, what a fascinating game”.

   My kids like this, and it is not too confrontational or long winded (plays easily in one hour) for my girlfriend. So, it gets lots of plays. Also, it plays equally well with 3, 4, or 5 players.

   BTW, I play without the ‘power cards’. These were not in Reiner Knizia’s original design. They were added by the publisher, to the detriment of the game in the opinionof this player and the consensus on boardgamegeek.com.

   I like this game because I’m really into strategy games but am not always up for a 3-4 hour game. The instructions for this game are pretty simple and it plays pretty fast. Everyone’s doing something at all times so the time passes quickly and you don’t have to wait around for your turn.
