Love this game!! Puts a spin on regular trivial pursuit and speeds up the game as well.

This is one of my favorite trivia games. We tried playing the 20th Anniversay Edition of Trivial Pursuit and it was really, really hard. I consider myself smart but most of the questions in that game felt like the $2,000 Jeopardy clues.
This “Bet You Know It” version seems like a toned down version and adds another dynamic to the game: Betting on whether the person answering the question will get it wrong or right.
You also get to pick the topic (of the 4 cards in the card holder), and depending on your roll, have a choice with which category you’ll have to answer. This makes it easier for people who aren’t comfortable with certain categories. What also makes it easier is the ability to exchange chips for the “wedges” you need to ultimately win the game. So, if you know nothing about “arts and literature”, you’ll probably end up buying that wedge.

We love the original, but this takes it just a step better. I normally am terrible at this game, and often kid that by the end I have a major complex and feel stupid. However this option of betting on someone is great! And if I have one suggestion to the maker,it would be to not do so many (almost 80%) of yoru questions Canadian based. Well at least not for the American market…it was A LOT of trivia based on Canadian questions…just a thought. Other than that….great family/friend game!

This version of Trivial Pursuit adds a sort-of side game of betting on whether someone will correctly or incorrectly answer a question, which comes back into play at the end of the game when you can “purchase” your preferred subject. I really appreciate this addition to previous editions for adding another element to the game.
The questions in this version are also easier than in previous versions, but that is not to say you’ll know the answer to most of them. Because of this, I can play with my family, who are all of varying levels of trivial knowledge, without anyone dominating the game. It’s also beneficial because my friends and I can play after a few drinks and not be dumbfounded by a majority of the questions. If you are a trivia buff, this version may seem to dumbed-down. However, if you play casually, as I do, this is a fantastic and very fun version.

Fantastic game which is a shorter, but much more humorous, version of the original Trivial Persuit. The questions are more up to date. Great fun ! Delivered very promptly.

The game is fun, but most of the questions were Canadian related Trivia. Little dissappointed. Not sure if it was due to the seller, or if the game is simply a canadian game.

Package was not damaged, but box inside was. When I tried to return for an exchange, I was told that I could return it, but could not get a new one at the same price. I would have to buy it for more elsewhere.

I am rubbish and ordinary trivial pursuit and usually come last as my general knowledge is not great. However with this game you can play against people who are smarter than you and still stand some chance of winning. Its also a much quicker game and I can say without a doubt that I prefer it to the normal game. Recommended as a good family game.

Bought this for a family game night. Cousins and I played this for 4 hours before realizing. Really fun version. Found the questions to be medium skill level.

My family has owned 2 versions of TP, and my Mother in Law has the Masters Ed. and let me just say that this was the BEST version I have EVER played. Way faster & way easier – you don’t have to be an über brain to get these questions. The game feels like “final Jeopardy” meets Las Vegas with a whole lot of trivia and laughter thrown in. Fun for everyone. I typically never do well with TP games and with this edition I almost won…. almost… my wife is way smarter than I am (and she is standing over my shoulder as I write this). Highly Recommended.
