   This is a cute game, but the questions are pretty hard. I have seen this film dozens of times during my life, but some of the details that are asked about in the game are things I never really noticed. That said, if you know anyone who has seen the film a lot and really pays attention to the details, they will love this game. There is a quick-play option if you don’t already own a Trivial Pursuit board. My only real qualm with this product is that it comes with a really small pack of cards, so if you play it more than a few times you’ll get a lot of repeat questions.

We love playing it. The coffin shaped box is a bonus. That was something that was noticed by all my family. I would recommend TRIVIAL PURSUIT: Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas to anyone who love Trivial Pursuit, Tim Burton and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

   Loved the game and questions but due to it’s size you recycle through questions quickly. It does have it’s own set of rules (and a dice where you collect cards as you go) OR you can use it with a copy of trivial pursuit, (which I would recommend for better playability with groups larger than 3). As many other reviewers have said it is small. It says “over 400 questions” that means questions, NOT cards. Each card has about 6 questions on it and there are about 70 cards. The box itself from top to bottom is around the same height as a TV remote.

   My husband is a huge Nightmare Before Christmas fan. I got this for his Christmas present and he flipped! It has so much obscure info that he doesn’t even know! But it also has enough easy/medium questions that I can play along and enjoy it. We couldn’t be happier with this.

    This was a LOT smaller than I thought it would be considering the price I paid for it! It is NOT to the dimensions that are listed on the page (21.5 x 11 x 11 inches). The length is barely even 12 inches, and maybe 6-8 inches wide, definitely not more than 4-5 inches deep. As another reviewer said, this thing fits in the palm of my hand!
    This is NOT a board game, there is no board, It is just the cards and the die in a coffin shaped box; which it does say in the product description “includes a custom coffin-shaped box with tray that holds the trivia cards and custom die…”, but most people will assume that a board being included is a given with a trivial pursuit game, so they would assume it didn’t need to be noted.
    It’s very nice and good quality, but It was rather a big let down to know that I paid $25 for something that isn’t much bigger than the few decks of cards it holds.
    I bought this as a Christmas present for a friend because she loves trivia games (and we both love NBC), so she was thrilled to get it. I just want to warn other customers that there are better options (and prices) for NBC games out there than this one!

    Bought this “Trivial Pursuit – Nightmare Before Christmas” Game . . . My daughter loves it and said the questions are very hard but the game is well entertaining. Our only complaint is we’d love to have a chance to buy a “Full version”.

    I was nervous when buying this cause I read the reviews and they led me to believe this game could not be played without a board and the pie pieces…. It is a quick play game you don’t need a board you answer a question to get the chance to keep a card the first person to have 6 cards win. This game is perfect for a trivia game. I am happy.
