As someone who loves playing Twilight Imperium, this expansion has brought a lot of new elements to the game that have kept me engaged. One thing to note is that the game works best with six players, although it’s still fun with five. The game sessions can be quite long, usually lasting around 6-7 hours. I’ve had sessions that were as short as 4 hours and as long as 17 hours, but regardless of the duration, I always have a great time. Overall, if you enjoy Twilight Imperium and want to add more variety and challenge to your games, the Prophecy of Kings Expansion is a great choice. It’s easy to integrate into the base game, and it keeps things interesting with new factions and objectives. I highly recommend it for fans looking to enhance their gaming experience.

    This is an expansion for Twilight Imperium 4. This is not a stand alone game. If you don’t know what TI4 is, go look that game up to see if you would enjoy this incredibly immersive, entertaining, and long game. But if you already own TI4 base game, just buy Prophecy of Kings already. It is worth it. It fixes so many of the gripes our group had about the base game (tech, resource availablity, agendas). It just opens the game up to be exactly what it needs to be. Just buy POK if you have base game. You will never look back. The rules are very very easy to learn if you already learned the beast that is base game. Almost everything new is intuitive.
