   I got this game for my 3 boys 12,8,5. It was a last minute gift and I was on the fence about weather or not they would like it. I’m happy to report it was a favorite! They love playing out in the yard with this game. It has brought lots of fun during the cold winter. I will say it’s not a great quality it easily falls apart. We have had to glue all the wand pieces back together. The kid wish we could buy replacement jem’s as well. All and all its a fun game that help keeps their imagination going. I would buy this game again.

   I bought this for my kids to play while camping. They had a blast! My kids range in age from 8 to 21, so it’s very hard to find things they all enjoy. They’re looking forward to introducing their friends to the game now. My only concern is that the gems can come out of the end pretty easily.

   I was watching our grandsons for a week and decided to pick up this game for while they were here. It was just the three of us, so we played I hid the gems and they tried to find them. I had to give them 20-40 seconds head start to look for the gems. I am 65 and not as fast but we all were laughing and having such a good time. It was good when their dad got in the game, we all were laughing. We played outside in a small fenced in yard. We tried to play in the house too, but it got a little too crazy running.

   So much fun playing this with my children and my parents. Great exercise and fantastic twist on freeze tag. Lovely for getting outside and obtaining some fresh air. Good for team spirit and having lots of fun. We split into two teams and everyone was able to play from 4 years up to 62! A perfect family friendly game for anyone who needs to get outside and play with the children and forget their woes!

   I don’t normally write reviews but I had to make the effort for this one as it succeeded in getting my son and all his friends out to play and away from their screens for a couple of hours. They quickly grasped the rules adding a few of their own and played the game twice before unfortunately breaking one of the gems as they threw the rod from one person to another. As it had smashed into pieces I checked the website and was amazed to see they actually offered spare parts. I then re read it and found it was only in the US. On the off-chance they had European suppliers I wrote via the contacts page and received a reply within minutes offering me 3 options to replace. I have to say the customer service was amazing and most unexpected these days! Well done and would highly recommend!

   El producto está muy buen planteado y da mucha jugabilidad.

   Es buena una buena idea.

   Pero hay varias cosas que no me han gustado. El elemento central es demasiado frágil para el precio del producto.

   Si se cae al suelo se rompe seguro. Muy muy frágil para el precio que tiene.

   Otra cosa que no me ha gustado nada es que todas las instrucciones y variantes del juego vienen en inglés.

   Cosa que no entiendo si se comercializa en España.

   There are so many things to love about this game. The premise of the game is really fun, but the fact that the gems light up (and have batteries that can be changed out) makes it spectacular. The colors are so vibrant in low light and the game is extremely fun to play. I also like that there isn’t a lot of packaging waste and in fact the whole game stores compactly in one piece. As a suggestion, we purchased some wristbands to go along with the game. In lower light, it may not be obvious who is on which team. I got a multi-pack with four colors that were “hot” (pink, orange, red, yellow) and four that were “cool.” There is a lot of flexibility in how you play the game, which I also like. It’s easy to tailor for different situations or different groups of people. I would highly recommend this game and am considering gifting it to several of our friends.

   This is such a fun take on freeze tag. It has it’s own names for the different teams (the Vikings and the Ice Dragons) and each team has different challenges. The Vikings are trying to gather up the crystals (which light up- super fun!) and put them into the Rod of Winter (it is the wand and the crystals slide into the top of it). The Ice Dragons are trying to tag the Vikings and freeze them all before they are able to attach all of the crystals to the wand. We played this as a family and had so much fun. This game would work better with a bigger group and area because you scatter the crystals and have to run around to pick them up. I can’t wait to have the kids in the neighborhood come and play with us! The fun things about this too is that the crystals light up so this can be a fun summer night game. For sure worth the money. Such a creative spin on the game of freeze tag.

    Very disappointed! Received the item and it was immediately unusable. The gems were stuck fast in the wand. Was finally able to remove a few and see paint lines around the gems. Appeared it “glued” the gems into the wand. Even after breaking them free they would not slide in smoothly. We got this for our kids ages 5-9…..no way a 9 year old could put the gems into the wand

    Returned wand for replacement…..SAME ISSUE AS FIRST! If this was a $10 item I would sand the gems down to make them work and fit better…….but for a $40 item?! Returning and disappointed as the concept sounded really cool.

    Overall we’ve had a lot of fun with this toy. My 5yr old likes to use it as a staff or sword and play pretend with it. My older two kids have had fun taking turns hiding the glowing gems inside or outside and finding them. They used the gems to play a fun game of Red Light/Green Light at dusk with cousins. My kids haven’t really liked to play the game that came with it however. It’s a version of freeze tag or sharks & minnows. My kids didn’t like that only one team got to use the staff and they found it a little confusing. So instead, they like to play where one person hides the gems and the teams have to race to find as many as they can and put them in the staff before the other team. Kids ten and older might do better with the included game instructions. My kids liked that it lit up and was something different.

    I was looking for a fun outdoor game for all ages, and I found it! This game is so fun and creative. I love how it really gets us moving and laughing. My kids of every age love to play! Perfect for kids parties, family camping trips or events. I look forward to playing this with a bigger group when we go camping! I like that the gems use those disk batteries, they last a long time.

    My kids & their friends had fun with it! They liked having teams and hiding & finding gems. They thought it hurt a little to be “unfrozen” since you get tagged with the rod of winter.. but some kids are more rough than others with it. Depends on the kid. The red gem broke off the first time they played with it, so they just didn’t use that one. But the company offers free replacement parts & it was super quick and easy to order that and they ship it right to you for free. The kids all said they would play it again, especially since it’s finally warming up and they like playing night games outside around the neighborhood. Glow in the dark games are fun!!
