   To be honest, I was shocked when I opened my package because of the quality of the game. I had this set growing up and played it all the time. Over time the lid cracked but everything else was still in good condition. The game that I received as a whole was in fair condition. It even had the hourglass replaced with a new blue one. That aside, there are no cracks or anything so after some disinfecting I should be able to enjoy my childhood game again.

   I played this as a youngster and wanted to revisit. I remembered it being a fun game, and it really is. I bought a vintage game, so the hourglass timer doesn’t quite work as it should. Over time the sand has clumped together. But we just use another timer, and that’s OK. We’re having a lot of fun with Boggle!

   I was happy to find the original game for a reasonable price and in good condition. It took quite a bit of time searching to find one I could afford, but the search was worth it!

   For 35 years my family has played Boggle. Even though my girls are in their 40’s we still love to play Boggle. Now, my grand daughter joins in. The girls started when they were very young (with special dispensation since they were pre-schoolers)and they caught on very quickly. We have giggled through many games and never tire of playing!

   These older games are easier on the eyes and overall a better quality than the newly made Boggle games. Enjoy the older ones while you can get them, because they won’t be around forever.
