   Smaller than I expected, I will be using this for skirmish armies, like my 40K Kill Teams. I like the idea behind the inserts which will make it easier to carry the more awkwardly shaped figures, but seems flimsier than previous foam. Overall, I would recommend this for smaller armies, skirmish type games.

   I think people are expecting more than they should out of this case, its a skirmish case not an army case and I honestly think its competitively priced for what you get, its a hard shell and the plastic isn’t as thin as another review said. Over all its an improvement on their old case design and the trays are actually pretty versatile.

   Ideal case to hold my skirmish force of Primaris Space Marines, the foam is easy to move around and still offers protection without pressing on the models too harshly. Case is simple plastic but seal shut well and the carry handle is a decent one. Unlikely to withstand any great weight but that is not the point – a waist height drop by accident would most likely protect everything well. GW prices are a rip off as everyone knows so not giving 5 stars for value on principle. Other no issues

   The amount of mini’s you can fit in the is amazing and the price was great as well. I will be picking up another soon. BUT, if you have predominantly “metal” mini’s I might steer clear of this. It’s amazing for plastic 30mm mini’s. I like the size and portability of this hard-case.

   I bought one from my FLGS. These are very sturdy and tough. The lining in the inside is was to place minis and keep them safe. If you have seen one I. Person these are perfect for skirmish armies with small pieces that don’t have a ton of spindly or breakable parts.

    Was so excited, but now just bummed. This case arrived broken in multiple hinge points rendering it unusable as it doesn’t properly open or close. Also has a strange Vaseline or melted glue substance in these break points, see fourth photo for a close up, as though attempts were made at repair before being sent. If I could leave less than one star I would as this wasn’t even for me but a surprise for a partner.

    Citadel boxes as always very good quality. This skirmish box has two foam trays . I bought this to use as a hobby box and it fits my needs perfectly. I have GW paints, washes files, paintbrushes and close up work eye glasses in the top tray and 15 models (currently Grey Knights) in the bottom tray. I also have space for GW cutting tray and palette and some tissues in the top of the box.
    All nice and compact. Well worth the
    purchase
