- Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound is the first ever tabletop roleplaying game set in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe, one of the most exciting fantasy settings ever created. Soulbound lets players explore and roleplay in the Mortal Realms — eight unique realms comprising a world of high fantasy, magitech, steampunk, and post-apocalyptic horror. The Mortal Realms are filled with gods and monsters, daemons and demigods, and regular people trying desperately to survive in an endlessly cruel world.
- In Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound, you take on the role of Soulbound — powerful heroes whose actions will shape the future of the Mortal Realms. The Soulbound are an ancient order dating back to the Age of Myth. The Pantheon of Order created the Soulbound as both servants of the gods and guardians of the realms. As the Pantheon of Order was shattered and the Mortal Realms descended into the Age of Chaos, the Soulbound faded into memory. Now, in a time of utmost need, Sigmar has called on the other gods to join together and resurrect the lost order. Only a few answered the God-King’s call, and now the Soulbound once more walk the Mortal Realms.
- Soulbound allows players to choose from an array of character archetypes during character creation, many of which players may recognise from the Warhammer Age of Sigmar battlegame. Players can choose from mighty Stormcast Eternals, furious Duardin, strange and unknowable Idoneth Deepkin, and many more. Below are some of the heroes to choose from

This is a very excellently written book. The rules are easy to understand and they allow even brand new characters to feel powerful.
This book takes place in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe and does an incredible job of fleshing out a setting that had issues with lore before.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to adventure in the Mortal Realms or just want to feel like a powerful hero in a high fantasy universe full of war.

Soulbound is a bit more of a flavorful system than dnd. Rather than relying on hard numbers for everything, Soulbound uses some more free-flowing elements. One of the main actions players can take on their turns is “improvise” simply just asking the dm if they can do something. While you can do that in dnd, its nice seeing this officialized. Also, fair warning, player characters are VERY powerful. This game is much more of a power fantasy compared to other systems, so be sure to plan accordingly.

This is an absolutely beautiful book. The layout and artwork are fantastic. The game itself has a lighter ruleset than most RPGs Ive seen but still looks like it will be a lot of fun.
