   This terrain piece has many uses and configurations for many different encounters. Pieces like this are handy when your dming and you need to toss in some random travel encounters to stretch out a session , especially if the pace is moving faster than you anticipated.

   For as expensive as this is, you would think the quality would be far better. I had a piece of cloth glued to the bottom of one end. Another piece was not glued properly, and I cannot tell if it makes it wobble in place, or if that is just how it is designed. It looks far more impressive in the pictures than it does on your tabletop.

   Bigger than I thought, comes with a lot of extras. It’s a good piece but with all things Wizkids, some things are great, others are okay. Outside of the large size, this wasn’t as good as I was hoping it to be. Scale of 1-10, I’d give it a7.

   Love the bridge! Looks great on the table and is flexible in size (length) for a variety of encounters on or at a bridge. The extra bits it comes with are a nice touch but I could have done with out them (heads on spikes, toll bridge signs, chains & barricades); they’re not quite as nice as the bridge itself. I’ve packed them away in a storage bin, hopefully I remember they exist if when they’re helpful for an encounter.

   I have two draw backs to the bridge and they both deal with the end risers that allow you to add extra height to the bridge. 1. they don’t fit nicely into the ends of the bridge, they’re only “good enough”. Something about their tolerance or factory assembly doesn’t allow them to sit nice, flush, and clean. 2. the ‘cart ruts’ or whatever they are molded into the play surface of those same riser detract from their use. It’s harder to place a figure on them and don’t really match up with carts anyway. IMO they’re only really there for visual appeal/detail when selling the product. They detract from it’s use. Not a lot…just sort of an annoyance. So far, those two things have me not looking to use the bridge at it’s full height unless I’m doing something in the water under the bridge…and then I think twice about my plan.

   My order was delivered today. It was packaged well, with no damage to the exterior or product box. None of the items in the product box indicated any damage. The detail on the bridge piece is excellent, and is a welcome edition to my growing 4D collection. The bridge comes in three parts — six if you uses the elevated bases — and these are substantially resilient. The span can be readily adapted for different size crossings and they can be fitted with a variety of provided pieces for different encounters. Why 3-stars? I was missing the male bridge guard, and fitting the spiked wolf heads and skulls to their bases was moderately difficult, and one of them would simply not fit the base.

   All-in-all, my biggest critique is the missing miniature. It is a premium 4D item, and it should’ve been in the box. I would easily give it 4-stars if not for this issue.
