   Its worth the money visually, definitely a step up from using a grid and paper, but the Warlock clips are durable but are maybe TOO durable. The clips take a while before they work themselves in but they don’t break so you can be rough with them there’s no doubt about that. What I would suggest is adding magnets to the clips so you can leave the clips in and add the tiles in on the fly and not worry about pulling them apart as hard. This is a great first step and I love the tiles!

   This set, and all others, are what you want to invest in. If you can afford Dwarven Forge, awesome. Really that kicks ass. But for the rest of us mindless geeks,
   I think that Warlock tiles are fun to collect.

   My first dungeon tile set was too dark and smelled like sealant but boardgamesweekly.com replaced them and the replacement looks great. Just what I expected from wizkids, great quality and durable tile set. My one gripe would be the warlock clips, they’re too hard to put together tiles with. I will buy the Warlock EZ clips to replace the ones that came with the tiles, but I hope Wizkids can just make the next run just include the EZ clips and maybe sell the old ones from a durability standpoint. Making dungeons on the fly should co.e in the box and having tougher clips should be the luxury.

   Warlock tiles are amazing since they really bring your tabletop games to a whole new level. With rooms and dungeons, you can customize to your own design and liking. There’s great flexibility.

   It does take a whole lot of effort to fix the tiles together as they’re really durable, which also means it’s not an easy click-clack, but it takes quite a bit of strength.

   And I honestly would’ve preferred if Warlock added more floor tiles, than walls into their boxes – that would’ve made things even better!

   First off, this product is gorgeous. It’s an inexpensive way to build 3D scenes for your battles. This is, by far, a recommended buy. But the included “WarLock” connectors they originally manufactured are awful. Simply awful. There are other reviews which mention this, and it needs to be repeated.

   Instead, you should make sure you include the “EZ Clips” connectors in your order. Get as many as you think you need (they’re sold in packs of 100). Don’t even bother using the included clips unless you hate yourself. But the “EZ Clips” are what they should have released in the first place. With the new clips, assembling a full scene takes mere minutes and looks gorgeous.

   Before I found that I did indeed have some of the EZ Clips (from the angle expansion), I was going to rate this product very low; but their re-engineered clips saved their rating. (It would be nice if they would replace the clips on request!)

   If you want your players to gasp with excitement as you put a warlock tiles build on your table then these are a great purchase. My players attention for combat is so much better. Terrian elements like these let the DM and Players better understand capabilities in combat and movement. They become more creative with their actions.

    Ecstatic with this purchase. The main concern previous reviews report was that fingers would get obliterated by the impossible to handle clips. I am happy to confirm this issue has been resolved as this set now comes with EZ clips which are still very sturdy yet exponentially easier to handle/install. Amazing set, at a great price! Here’s to many years of using this versatile modular set to add a tactile feel to DnD combat!

    Been using these for over a year and they really make it better and more fun, because you as a DM and your players can SEE the inside of a building and where their character is, not to mention where they might find the inn keeper or black smith, or the invading orcs.
