My kids and I are having a great time with this. The Ballista trivializes the difficulty, but you can just play without it. That’s what we do. The Dragon is a fun enemy to face, as are the rats and spectral walkers. This is a very worthwhile purchase!

Spectral Walkers are a unique mob since they can only be killed by the Ballista,Dragon Fire, Magic or Vault Weapons.
Swarm of Ratz are also unique since a Swarm of Ratz already on the board get another activation if you draw a Swarm of Ratz card.
You can get Vault Cards if you kill the Necromatic Dragon by dealing 2 damage to the Dragon.
