   NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is arguably the most iconic apocalyptic Zombie films of all time from which an entire genre was born and this board game allows you to relive Romero’s nightmarish vision with dice!

   The models are cool and great fun to paint, the board itself interlocking so allows the player some options for creativity. Having never played Zombicide before and yet to experience this unique version, the rules do seem simple enough and the adventures fun. Am looking forward to giving it a shot once I’ve painted my models.

   Excelente juego, muy completo.
   Es sencillo de jugar, pero si te vas a estar volteando a leer las instrucciones varias veces.

   The product is more realistic and less cartoonish than the other zombie games with the figures of both survivors and zombies based on those in Romero’s film. The twist is that there are 2 versions of each character a more realistic film version and a more ott powerful zombicide version that you can switch between as you play. Figures are up to the usual standard of the other games and paint up really well. Components are also the usual good stuff. A very nice addition.

   This game is a great mix of the Zombicide series and the Night of the Living Dead series. My ONLY complaint is that sometimes its hard to switch back and forth from Zombiecide and Romero mode, but other than that, this game is awesome and perfect!

   This game is fairly easy to learn and set up. The game is fun and a little different each time. I personally enjoy the fact that it’s cooperative so no one flips the board over from losing, haha. The only thing I don’t like is the constant switching to and from Romero mode. So we just created our own rules to cope with that. This game is a must for any fan of the movie.

   This is fun and tense game. It’s easily to add house rules. The initial playthrough is a small learning curve. The rulebook has quite a bit of information to absorb, but it is explained in great detail with lots of illustrated examples. Overall, a great experience and a fantastic tribute to George A Romero’s classic film.

    First, disclosure, we are a Zombicide family. I have played this game system with my son and daughter hundreds of times over the last ten plus years. We really enjoy it. It was easy to teach them when they were in elementary school, but it has definitely scaled as they have gotten older. Black Plague is probably our favorite. This game is fairly similar to previous iterations overall, but at least one huge difference…Romero mode!! I’m not 100% we are doing it correctly..but basically your survivors can be either Zombicders (awesome or over the top zombie killers) or be triggered into Romero mode*…which is kind of like a more tranditional setting. The zombie types, walker, brute(fattie), and a new breaker type. Breakers are kind of neat..they can take down the barricades…which is normally how you keep zombies out. Miniatures are good, lots of them. I picked this game up for around 60 dollars USD and it was a no brainer. I would probably still feel good about this purchase at full retail. Speaking of miniatures…I fully recommend to prime them black…drybrush them grey and maybe put a matte wash over them. If this is greek to you, just give it a search on youtube. Painting board game pieces has really elevated our experience in these games. *Romero mode has its own versions of survivors…loved that!!

    I own several versions of Zombicide and at face value this is my least favorite. Aesthetically it’s beautiful and does take you back to the movie, but the character dynamics are kind of clunky, constantly switching play modes, some of the missions do not play well and unless you modify the player decks it’s super easy. It’s better when you are with intelligent gamers and you come up with missions of your own.

    I’m not crazy about the zombie genre but Night of the Living Dead is my favorite horror movie. This game was fun! The mechanics were fairly intuitive once I wrapped my head around the basics and the rulebook structure. I was glued to the rule book first play through but then the gamr play starts to have a nice rhythm. The miniatures and box design are a very welcome cherry on top.
