Excited to use this with our new language learning endeavors. It's a bit flimsy overall and I don't know if I'd pay the same price again, it's not as a nice of quality as expected. But fits the job we are desiring.

I expected and paid for a “new” Pictionary game. The Pictionary game I received came in a box that was dirty, torn corner, 496 word cards in a box that was dirty, and the die, markers, category cards and timer were not in their proper places in the plastic tray, but in a dirty plastic bag. I want a brand new game!!!

Got the game. But it's missing the game pieces. We had to take pieces from another game in order to play. How do you miss putting the game pieces in?

Love this game as much if not more than monopoly 📍🎲. You start off broke and have to deal with real life issues kids salary make too much you're taxed, make too little avoid tax but you're a waitress with two or more kids and have to make it work. Dave Ramsey game should be in every home in America.

This is a review of the game "Bulls and Bears". I have worked in the Financial industry for the past 3 decades. When I saw this game I thought it would be a good way to get my 2 teenagers to understand something about investing (vs. them not wanting to hear me explain things to them!). It actually DID....plus both of them, and my wife (who wants nothing to do with investing) said it was fun! Win, win! The components: 3 out of 5 The board is a nice, heavy duty cardboard. The pawns are plastic and feel a bit cheap. The cards are decent card stock, not heavy duty, but not cheap feeling. Unfortunately, both the stock certificates and the bills are cheap paper. I wish they had used a bit heavier paper, especially since there is a lot of handling of both of these components. There is also an insert tray, unfortunately, when you put all the cards/papers inside, it is just barely deep enough so they shift around inside the box. There are four different types of cards you play with, a quick reference guide that is basically just a multiplication table but with dollar/share amount values for buying/selling stock (while the max player count is 6, for some reason there are TWELVE quick reference cards which was strange). There are also 12 different career cards (called Avatar cards). You roll the die to decide what career is randomly which makes it fair for all players and having 12 gives it much more playability. Each career has a salary, starting cash and win conditions that are different from each other. My wife was a doctor with a 200k salary while my son's salary was only 90k. Win conditions varied by about 1.2 million between them, so it's fair. I really like that part. The manual: 5 out of 5 The manual is short and concise. It gives you detailed instructions on setup and a breakdown of every single type of card in the game. We only had to look back at it once when we started playing, and that one time was during the first round. The gameplay is described very well and, not counting the setup and card descriptions, is only TWO pages long. Quick set up and you are playing the game in minutes. Gameplay: 4.5 out of 5 As I stated, we ALL had fun. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the teenagers to make it through a whole game (took about 2 hrs for our first playthrough) but they did. Towards the end, they were both counting their cash on hand as well as figuring out how much stock they could sell to catch my wife (who was a bit ahead of them)! I was honestly impressed that the game had that quick of an impact! The gameplay is simple but involves some luck (what are the stock prices going to be on the cards you pick up), some memory (remembering what share price you bought a stock for so you can sell at a profit) and some strategy (diversity vs holding only one or two stocks). You roll and, based on what spot you land on will get one of four cards. Bull/Bear cards list stock prices for your turn. They show the current price, the average high and low as well as the max number of shares you can buy/sell for that turn. Luck cards that gives a stock name and, should you hold that stock you can roll and get awarded more stock. Speculation cards have you roll and, based on the result you will win or lose cash. That's it! It is simple to understand but you need to decide the best plan of action. Do you want to hold out for a higher price, or make a quick profit? The ONLY thing we didn't like about the gameplay was the "Stop" spaces. They are similar to "Go To Jail" spaces in Monopoly only you simply lose 2 turns. There is nothing giving reasons. There is also no way to get out of the punishment like there is in Monopoly where you can try to roll the dice. You simply sit there for 2 turns while everyone else plays. I think this could have been a bit better if you could have rolled to attempt to get out as well as if they gave reasons (You didn't pay capital gains tax, The IRS Is auditing you, etc). It's the only reason I gave 4.5 stars instead of 5 for gameplay. If you are looking for a game that is a lot more fun then Monopoly and will teach you or your kids something about investing, this is a great buy! For 2 teenagers to put down their phones and not look at them for the full 2 hours we played is praise enough! They actually had fun and learned a bit about investing at the same time. While $49.99 is a tiny bit on the expensive side for the component quality, I am not going to ding them since the game was such a success and will definitely be hitting the table again in the future,

Mangled product, this was intended to be a hold. Now that I've decided to open it fully, The Collector Booster that was supposed to be inside has been stolen.

The game design was unique and beautiful. The pieces were solid. It was a bit tricky to figure out at first. But once we did, it was a lot of fun. My 8 and 11 year old boys loved the challenge of moving their buildings. We set a house rule that a person could always rebuild if it broke while moving. Or they could choose to forfeit points for that builder card. This definitely eliminated the frustration of a broken build. We had fun with this game.

As an introvert, I was nervous about doing a murder mysteries (more-less a drag queen one) , however I have very talented friends that I knew would love it. The Death of Diamonds was so much fun. Everyone enjoyed their character and truly got into the spirit dressing up and finding their character. I chose Jessica Pearce and channel my inner Alexis from “Schitt's Creek“. The quality of the box and content was great. The individualized scripts were hilarious and left you guessing as to who Murder Diamonds. This was my second kit that I have done, it seems to get the most out of a murder mystery you have to have a group that will have fun with it (dress up, have fun with their character). The best part were the videos with a drag queen that guide the group through the kit! This kit gives you the building blocks to let a group have a great night. Bonus, it comes with invites, dinner recipe and dessert recipe to make planning the night even easier. Made for a great night with friends.

I received this today and it was received with no wrapping and when I opened the box, it was a mess already. Totally over priced for a used game. I was purchasing a new game for 76, not a used one. Very disappointed

The model inside was fine but box was destroyed. For someone who likes to display boxes on my storage shelving this was a let down.

Perfecto para ampliar la experiencia del juego base, sobre todo por las mecanicas de los zompies explosivos, ya que aumenta relevancia a los personajes de rango.

I won this game from McDonalds back when it came out in 1995. Just this last summer it got wet and destroyed in storage. So I ordered this one that said it was 'like new' to replace it. It most definitely is not like new. The insides are nice and all the pieces are there, but the outer box is terrible. Someone pushed the top down to the point all the corners tore apart, and then they proceeded to put packing tape on it to hold it together. I had to cut the tape to inspect the inside and the sides just started to fall apart. It's very worn and has small stains on it. Terrible buy for the money I paid for a 'like new' game. This should've been classified as poor condition.

Ordered this game finally got it, assumed it was going to be new because I didn't see anything saying used, not to mention the box says new but the condition of the box says differently. Will be returning!!!

This folding chess set looks elegant with chess pieces that are made from a combination of wood and metal and a reflective game board. The chess board and pieces are standard sized with two extra queens, convenient storage for pieces and a metal clips that keep the set closed when folded. The board is made from wood with an overlay of the game board. The chess pieces are beautifully crafted from metal with a wooden middle section. The light and dark wood pieces contrast well with the matte silver and metallic gold metal upper and lower sections. The pieces are also hefty with felt bottoms making them feel great and glide along the board. The only downside I have with this chess set is the packaging looks generic and too weak to properly close. I would highly recommend this elegant chess set for its unique pieces that are made from both wood and metal and feel great to use in gameplay!

The box was barely taped shut, and when it arrived, some of the tape had peeled off. There was even a HOLE in the shipping box! To make matters worse, there were no air cushions, so the game was poorly protected. Fortunately, the game itself wasn't damaged. boardgamesweekly.com's new economical packaging for international shipping is HORRIBLE. The bare minimum with next to zero product protection! The game itself is quite good, but it has a lot of rules. I recommend keeping the player aid and rule reference handy. Once you get past the first few turns, it becomes easier to play. Overall, the game is quite fun and perfect for fans of Battlestar Galactica. This is a streamlined and improved version that's more accessible.
