The box was tampered with and all packs were resealed. Not one good pull except the promo. Even the card dividers were damaged as well as upside down cards and damaged holos. I'm super upset with the quality of this ETB as well as the obvious tampering with the box. If I could get my money back for this I will. I 100% do not recommend this. A pack contains 10, some i pulled 11 cards, some I had 10, one i had 9.

The majority of these miniatures, caan all be used for D&D the regular troops are perfect as well as the heroes. The golem goes well on a large base and they paint pretty well.
A must buy for the game! Every model has a place, and there's enough room for everything, including the cards, and the board. I can't imagine trying to play Star Wars: Rebellion, having all of the models and pieces without these foam inserts. You have to be careful when pulling them out of the box, but that's a small complaint for something that made playing the game for the first time more manageable (and I look forward to playing the game many more!) As you can see with all of the trays in the box, there is still room to fit in the board.
Was delivered bent and has very visible cracks and splits on both front and back cover.
Wooden, large size chessboard pieces. The fact that they come in a box keeps them safe. Traveling with a large box, not so easy, however these are nice pieces. I bought them as a back-up. My kids live to play chess and take with them while camping. Late night sitting around that campfire or to the beach while camping. Nice pieces. Our chessboard is on the larger side and these work well. The base of each piece is felted. Each has decent weight. Made in Poland. Used my nail scrubber to show size of pieces to give you a better idea re size.
If you are an Aliens fanatic AND a hobbyist, thia game is a dream come true. I have assembled piles of models and minis from Games Workshop and other companies and these models are on par in terms of quality, detail and ease of assembly. I cannot wait to paint these. Card and paper components are hefty and printed in very good detail and resolution. NOTE.. If you do not enjoy the hobby aspect of gaming, i.e. meticulously clipping and assembling miniatures you may not enjoy this. I would say a moderate dexterity and experience would be ideal for this game. If you are unfamiliar with spru models do yourself a favor and get some spru snips/side cutters. Dont think about it, just get em... You can use a hobby knife to remove these from the sprues if you have a skilled hand but a decent 10 dollar pair of snips will save you much agony and time. As far as gameplay, it has a slight feel of nostalgia in regards to the old Leading Edge, Aliens board game. If you arent familiar with it, hit google. Its a long out of print classic that the minis for this game could also be used for. Solo/coop play is frankly ideal for the current state of the world given the need for social distancing. This game will be a grand slam for some an a frustration for others depending on expectation.
This came in with several nicks on it. Strryker is also not flat. It keeps spinning. Also the board is rough. Updated Nov2019 Now this is completely unusable. See the pictures it’s starting to disintegrate on main playing surface. Either these crooks are selling duplicate product or defective second quality products . Shame on you guys.
My brother and I are huge backgammon enthusiasts. We have been competing for years. This board was delivered today and we met at the local pub and played 9 games. I won the majority by the way. I brought my new board home and was ready to teach my grandson a new game. When I flipped the latch, this happened. Not sure why or how to fix it, but I would hope the latch would last longer than being opened twice.
Well done pictures and writing. Even if you don't use it DMing, it's good to go with the rest of the WoD books. My husband will be using this book in a few weeks to start an Anarch campaign.
Dominion games & Empires itself are great
I don't have a lot to say about this. I asked for gift ideas for a family member and this was on the boardgamesweekly.com wish list they sent me. It came packaged well and it looks exactly as described. I hope he enjoys it.
I have always enjoyed playing chess. I like the strategy and the challenge it presents with having to think multiple steps ahead to be successful. The problem is that I don't really haven't had anyone else in life who enjoys playing chess with me regularly. Recently my youngest daughter has expressed interest and started learning how to play. So far she has been enjoying it. I saw this, and while it is expensive and a splurge, I figured it would allow me to have some bonding time with her as it can help her play and learn the game. Also, it will give me something to do that is brain-engaging and replaces time that may otherwise be spent on Facebook or news sites. I have to say this exceeded my expectations and is really amazing. First, there are so many options. You can play face to face against someone else, play against the AI or play against someone else in the world. I am not big into playing any game online against strangers, so I haven't really tested that out much. But I have played the AI and against people in my house. From the beginner perspective of my daughter, you can turn on hints. These hints light up the squares on the board as the board knows what each piece is. It will show you all the different places that piece can go and the quality of each move based upon the AI model of your choice. This has helped her to really see how the pieces move and also let's her see if she would be open to losing that piece from say a knight. Having these hints has helped to level the playing field between her and I now. It also prevents her from making an illegal move. From my perspective, it is fun because I can play against the AI and the difficulty. The technology is really cool how it identifies each piece and tracks it. The board was easy to hook up to the Internet and update. I know there are a lot more features I have yet to discover and look forward to doing so. The ONLY issue I ran into is when I was playing in the dining room, the squares on the board were flickering all over. I couldn't figure out what was going on because it had been working all the other times I tried it and was concerned the board had gone bad already. I tried it again later in another place and it worked just fine. It turns out that playing with this board under dimmable LED lights (or at least the ones we have) will cause it to flicker if the lights are dimmed. This isn't a big deal now that I know what it is and just make sure the lights aren't dimmed at all, but I wanted to point that out in case anyone hit it. Overall this is really fun and I look forward to many hours ahead with my daughter playing this!
