   Game is not new. Card holder is broken and cards are all scattered around. Very disappointed. We decided not the return it since my son has been waiting to play. The game itself is fun and very quick. My 3rd grade son likes it a lot. Wish they will make more game cards since they run out quickly if you play often like us.

   This game is really cute and interesting. My oldest son (13) got a bit bored with it fairly quick so I’d say it’s definitely for a younger audience. My younger son likes it and we’ve learned a lot of random facts.

   Great questions, BUT…my eagle-eyed 8-year old is able to read the answers printed on the card (they are intended to be camouflaged behind dots, like a color blindness test). So prepare to have someone be the host only.

   My daughter is a big fan of the National Geographic Kids fact books, and the questions here do not disappoint. They are thoughtfully crafted, often whimsical, and not too easy to guess. The problem is that the answer is disguised on the card with that mottled red design you remember from the puzzle books of your childhood. You’re supposed to need the special red magnifying glass to see through to the answer, but the answer pretty much leaps out at you when you glance at the card. So if it’s your turn to be the reader, you are going to have to avoid looking at the red answer circle, or cover it with your thumb. Most kids (and many adults!) aren’t going to be able to resist cheating. I suppose this won’t be a deal-breaker for some, but for me it makes the game unplayable.

   Got this for my v10 year old who loves to read these books. This game is easy to learn, and fun to play with the family.
