   Though the boardgamesweekly.com price is way above normal Retail Value, ( you could pay $31.99 +S&H at miniaturemarket.com) the game will appeal to people familial with tile laying games mixed with Mancala sort of movement. (Going around a resource board, collecting Enclosure Tiles or Animeeples and triggering off breeding phases.)
   Players are ultimately just trying to be the first to fill their zoo with enclosures. The animals help give you access to bonus tiles, that will help you fill your zoo faster, with an assortment of shapes that will fit into those nooks and crannies.
   Very simple game that can be learned an played in an hour. Plays well at 2 as well as 4.

   Meerkats, Flamingos, Arctic Foxes, what’s not to love? The wooden maples for each animal are fantastic and the artwork for the maps, enclosures, and attractions are adorable. My girls absolutely love this game, and you’ll have fun too sort all your little critters into their enclosures to build the ultimate little zoo!

   Sehr schönes und einfach zu verstehendes Spiel. Wir haben große Freude daran, da uns besonders das Material mit dem vielen kleinen Holztieren sehr anspricht.

   Es ist sehr gut zu zweit spielbar, aber auch als schönes Familienspiel mit Kindern machbar.
   Die Runden haben eine überschaubare Länge und es gibt mehrere Wege zum Sieg.

   Die Packung empfiehlt ab 10 Jahren, wir sehen es aber auch für pfiffige Kinder ab 8 Jahren gut spielbar.

   Il gioco è semplice, veloce e facile da spiegare. La grafica è lineare e gli animali dello zoo sono molto simpatici. Divertente che al passaggio dell’elefante gli animali si riproducano accelerando il processo di completamento delle aree di gioco! Consigliatissimo per famiglie e amici!

   I will still choose Isle of cats for my favorite polimino game but this is a nice change of pace. It is shorter, beautiful with adorable animeeples and instead of racing for points, you are racing to breed animals and finish your zoo first. The Rondell drafting is interesting, breeding animals is for all players at the same time so there is only a little down time. Solo mode is nice.
   A bit annoying to learn at first, with a lot of “if A then B unless C then D” which makes it a little harder to flow at first but well worth it. A bit price but understandable with all the animeeples you get.
