Maybe I got a defective product, but it takes a feat of engineering to put this thing together.
I couldn’t even make it past the first tray (favor tile board) because the pieces are so thick, they won’t snap in place. None of the pieces are flush with each other.
I tried sanding the pieces down some but it looks like I’ll have to sand each piece down a ton to even get this thing functional. Considering the cost I’m paying, that much work isn’t worth it.
I’m really disappointed because this looks like a stellar design and it took me a while before I pulled the trigger on a $40-50 organizer.

I normally don’t like to “bling out” my boardgames, but this was one case where an accessory really enhances my enjoyment of the game. Terra Mystica has a lot of pieces to deal with, and just setting up the game can be a chore. This organizer reduces that process from about 10-15 minutes to 30 seconds! You just pull out the trays and you’re ready to go! I don’t think they could have done a better job with the design.
Note that it’s designed to fit the expansions, but you’ll have a tiny bit of box lid float with the expansion, and quite a bit if you want to store both game boards in there. But there is really no way around that with the amount of components in this game.
Highly recommended for anyone who owns Terra Mystica.
