   Do you enjoy swashbuckling and summoning undead pirates? If so then this board game will probably tickle your fanny. In Rum and Bones players take turns trying to obtain victory points by utilizing their deck gun, forward-moving minions, tide cards, 3 actions per unique champion and also have the threat of sea creatures appearing such as a sea dragon or the legendary Kraken. This game is easy to pick up regarding fighting mechanics and uses many already established dice rolling conventions other table top games use. If you end up enjoying this game then there are plenty of expansions to purchase to add variety to your gameplay. The only downside is that this game takes some time if playing a full match. While I don’t mind this sort of thing as a strategy game enthusiast, other players may find this a burden.

   This to me is the best two player game by Cool Mini or Not. There’s loot to be plundered and buckles to be swashed aplenty. The flow of the game is really easy to get down and once you understand that you need to be pressing an attack constantly then the game becomse a mad dash to destroy the enemy objectives. The miniatures look absolutely amazing and the game can support up to 6 players. It seemed to really drag the first few games out with multiple people but once you understand your turn then it flows really well. I also really like that they two factions, while similar, do have different action cards that allow for different ways to play, but be careful playing the cards because every turn you might risk unleashing the Kraken who will do damage to both teams. All in all a fantastic game with great production and a lot of replay value.

   Really fun game! My only complaints are that the ghost crew seems a bit OP and the time it takes to play a game is not accurate. We’ve played a couple of times and both times, it took 3-4 hours and usually making an agreement as to what would be considered a win in order to bring the game to a close sooner. Maybe once you know all the rules, abilities, etc. in your head it goes faster. Still, it IS really enjoyable, just think of it more like Monopoly in terms of time to play…oh, and broken dreams. Haha!

   Super fun and relatively fast paced when compared to other similar styled board games. The miniatures included in this box are wonderfully detailed and though variant sculpts for the bosons and deckhands would have been nice, it doesn’t take away from the game itself and makea total sense.

   The game was purchased for my teenage son as a Christmas gift. The game appears very well made, with fine detailing on the molded figurines. My son loves it and has played it with friends already—his group of friends also enjoyed, and this game is sure to become one of their regular go-to games on their weekend “game-night” get togethers.

    Get ready for an intense strategy game that makes your mind go wild. Teamwork style game. Takes a lot of thinking and I suggest having a big gap of time to play the first couple times as you figure everything out and definitely read ALL the instructions.
